Uranus stations direct in Taurus

On February 3rd, Uranus will finally station direct in Taurus, for the last time in our lifetime, bringing an end to his final retrograde in Taurus until 2102.

This is a generational moment that signals how the brutal, long process of upheaval, awakening, and reinvention around Taurus themes is finally ready to move forward with clarity and momentum.

Since Uranus entered Taurus in 2018, we’ve been collectively reshaping our relationship with money, love, resources, stability, land, food, self-worth, and material security. On a much larger collective scale, Uranus in Taurus brought significant changes and disruptions to our financial structures and institutions, collective values, natural resources, environmental health, work habits, labor market, and sustainable advancements.

Uranus is the planet of unexpected change, sudden events, disruption, rebellion, liberation, progression, collective movements, innovation, and revolution. Taurus is the sign that rules our sense of stability, security, financial matters, material values, comforts, daily rituals, bodily health, and overall wellnessThis shift marks the beginning of the end for this chapter of our lives, symbolizing both a climactic ending and a reckoning. This is our chance to reflect on seismic shifts we’ve experienced in our lives related to our relationship to security, resources, partners, others, and the world around us since 2018. With Uranus now stationing direct for the last time here, the lessons have officially been learned.

Each retrograde has asked us to pause and reflect on what truly sustains us, reviewing where old systems have proven fragile, outdated, or unsustainable. This switch to direct feels like a green light after years of disruption and recalibration. What once shocked us has become familiar; what once destabilized us has taught us resilience. Innovations that once felt risky or unstable can now be integrated with greater confidence. Breakthroughs in values, technology tied to resources, and any alternative systems of security will begin to evolve and stabilize.

I often describe Uranus in Taurus as a curveball we didn’t see coming or a wrench thrown in our plans, to best explain how his movements bring unexpected changes to our lives. However, Uranus’ final direct transit through Taurus is a reminder that change appears slowly, quietly, permanently etching itself in unassuming ways, until it’s obvious and no longer inconspicuous.

Over the next couple of months, Uranus will try, for the last time, to reshape our relationships with stability, resources, finances, and personal values through unexpected situations, decisions, opportunities, and curveballs. As Uranus retraces his steps in his previous stomping ground of Taurus, he’ll ask: What’ve we learned about sustainability, self-sufficiency, and the true nature of stability? We’re revisiting unfinished lessons before we fully step into Uranus’s next era of mental and digital revolution in Gemini in the Spring.

From November 7th, 2025 - April 25th, 2026, we’re encouraged to rebuild stability in new ways, to refine how we earn, spend, eat, rest, grow, and sustain ourselves. Themes around value, wealth, sustainability, energy, and embodiment will be our main focus. Throughout the following months, Uranus will ask us to revolutionize the world we are living in, to align ourselves on an improved course for the future we want and need.

Collectively, we may see renewed attention on environmental concerns, global economies, resource management, and the ways technology intersects with nature and material wellbeing. The push for innovation will now answer to Taurus’s enduring wisdom: advancement cannot ignore the earth it stands upon.

This will be his final shift. When Uranus fully returns to Gemini in April, it will do so with Taurus’ wisdom. The groundwork laid in Taurus, sustainability and slow growth, will serve as the stabilizing force behind the rapid, fast-paced mental, digital, and communicative revolutions still to come.

I love to say history doesn’t repeat - it echoes. The last time Uranus retrograded from Gemini into Taurus was during the early 1940s, when global economies were reshaped and societies grappled with scarcity, resilience, and rebuilding. That era demanded collective ingenuity rooted in material reality - and so does ours.

This final retrograde return to Taurus is a reminder that every great leap forward requires a strong, stable ground beneath it. Before Uranus can fly through Gemini’s winds, we’re being asked to tend to the soil we are all on. To better ensure that what we’re growing and inventing has the stability to last.

As this chapter comes to a close, we’ll move forward with a clearer understanding of what we truly value, what we’re willing to rebuild from the ground up, and how freedom can exist not in chaos, but in creating stability that honors growth and sustainability. There is so much more to share about this transit, but I’ll leave it at this. All 12 Signs will feel this major energetic shift in the House Taurus governs in our birth charts.
